Thanks to community members, a change has been made into the default behavior of mCatFilter.
Posts are not excluded anymore from tag pages with this new 0.3.2 release.

In order to avoid future problems of this kind, the next major release (0.4) will allow the selection of the exclusion filter extend.

2009 starts well with a new release of mCatFilter to match WordPress 2.7 new features.

This release integrates now perfectly with the uninstall hook provided with the new plugin API.
You’re not anymore constrained to use our built-in process to setup, upgrade or uninstall completely the plugin.
However, due to this improvement, mCatFilter 0.3 requires WordPress 2.7 or a newer release to work.

mAutoPopup 0.5 and mCatFilter 0.2 have been successfully tested against WordPress 2.7 beta 3 and appeared to be fully functionnal.

WordPress 2.7 features a new install/uninstall functionnality available directly from the admin panels. However, mAutoPopup 0.5 and mCatFilter 0.2, both designed before WordPress 2.7, are not currently supporting this feature and you still have to step through the old-fashioned install/uninstall procedure provided with our plugins. Next releases will support WordPress 2.7.

This second release brings two major improvements to the plugin.

• Excluded categories list is now cleaned up when removing a category
• Integration with add/edit category forms

In other words, it makes mCatFilter easier to use.

Strong reminder :
If you are upgrading mCatFilter from version 0.1, make sure to complete the upgrade process by clicking the “Upgrade mCatFilter” button in the plugin properties page.

From this morning, mCatFilter is now part of the WordPress Plugin Directory.

The last stable release is still the version 0.1

mAutoPopup can new be downloaded directly from the official WordPress Plugin Directory and can be automatically updated for WordPress 2.5+ users.

No bug has been fixed by this version but will be asserted in the next release.
